Get your skates sharpened and hit the ice! The Town of Paradise is pleased to offer two NHL-sized ice rinks at the Paradise Double Ice Complex. Whether you're in the mood for shinny or want to practice your figure 8, we have plenty of sessions to accommodate your interests. We are also pleased to provide weekly sensory skate and learn to skate sessions.
All skating sessions are 50 minutes long unless otherwise noted on the Dressing Room schedules posted on the screens outside the rinks. Please take note of which dressing rooms are assigned for each session before entering. The full schedule and guidelines are below.

Community Skating Prices
Community Skating Price: $3 per person per session
Skating & Shinny Guidelines
- Children 12 years and under must be accompanied in the arena by an adult. Adults must also pay if they are participating on ice.
- All users must wear a CSA approved helmet when on the ice surface.
- Hockey sticks and / or pucks are not permitted during the skating sessions.
- Only approved skating aids are permitted on the ice (strollers, pylons, chairs, etc will not be allowed on the ice surface).
- Participants are required to follow all current public health guidelines.
- Users pay for skating sessions at Reception by the main arena doors. 10 Session Passes for Skating and Shinny are available.
- Please review our youth shinny rules and guidelines and / or senior shinny rules and guidelines before entering the ice rink.
Skate Sharpening
If you are looking to get your skates sharpened, Custom Edge Skate Sharpening is located inside the Double Ice Complex and would be happy to service your skates. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., and Saturday - Sunday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Town Hall Closed
The Town Hall is currently closed due to the fire in the Depot on February 9, 2025.
The tax payment deadline is extended to March 28, 2025. There are several ways to make payments, including pre-authorized debit, online banking, through your mortgage company, and mail-in cheques. Online payments (credit card, e-Transfer and PayPal) are accepted through PaySimply, a secure third-party provider through the Town website.
Payments can be made in-person at the Paradise Double Ice Complex from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
