The Town of Paradise is advising residents that the Town Hall and the Paradise Double Ice Complex will be closed on Monday, June 27, 2016 in observance of the Discovery Day Holiday.
The Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre and the Body Quest Fitness Centre will remain open with day camp and tri-sport going ahead as planned.
The Town is also advising residents that there will be no change to garbage and recycling collection.

The Town of Paradise is advising residents of planned detours in the areas of Elizabeth Park Elementary, Paradise Elementary and Holy Family Elementary during the week of June 20, 2016 to accommodate the Town’s ‘Paint the Pavement’ initiative. Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador recently recognized the efforts of the Town of Paradise in creating an accessible and inclusive atmosphere for sports and activities. The Paradise Double Ice Complex is a fully accessibly facility, which includes two NHL-sized ice surfaces that fully accommodate sledge hockey with appropriate benches and ice access from the sidelines. The Town of Paradise is advising residents of coyote sightings in the Ashlen Crescent area.
A coyote is a medium-sized animal with long legs; a tawny-grey coat with black tips; black tipped, bushy tail; reddish-yellow legs, paws and muzzle; and white fur on the throat, belly, and inside the ears. Coyotes have been in confirmed as being in our province since the 1990s.

The recent 2016 Curby Clean-up Day removed over three tonnes of litter and garbage from around the Town of Paradise. This year, more than 150 individuals participated from various neighbourhoods throughout the Town and from community groups such as 905 Viking Air Cadets, Paradise Scouts, RBC Paradise, Paradise Running Club, and the Youth Advisory Committee.
