The Town of Paradise advises that the State of Emergency has ended for the area of Town serviced by Lift Station 10. The system by-pass is operational at the site and the situation is stable. By the end of day today (November 22), no pumper trucks will be at the site and the intersection at Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line will be open to traffic.

The Town of Paradise today (November 18) advised that the external pump needed for the Lift Station 10 bypass has arrived. The pump arrived on site Sunday (November 17) morning and crews have been setting up the bypass system. This pump is less noisy than a traditional pump and commonly used in residential areas. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that a section of Adams Pond Trail is temporarily closed due to heavy rainfalls. Residents are asked to avoid the section of trail between Archibald Drive and Glendarek Drive as there are washouts and erosion. Please follow all posted signage. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience.
