The Town of Paradise today launched a resident notification system which allows residents to receive updates and information through text message, email, or phone call.

The Town of Paradise advises that on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at approximately 8:30 a.m. until further notice, emergency repairs in Evergreen Village will begin. Due to the nature of the work, a temporary water shut-off may occur in the area. Residents will be provided with an update tomorrow afternoon should a complete water shut-off take place.

UPDATE 2:00 p.m. - Work is on-going on the emergency repairs and the water shut-off will continue this afternoon. A further update will be provided later today. The Town apologizes for the inconvenience.

The Town of Paradise advises that effective immediately, 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, a section of St. Thomas Line, between Topsail Road and Carlingford Street, is closed and all traffic is diverted through Carlingford St. The road closure is needed due to a force main break in the area. Crews are on site and there is no direct impact to homes in the area. Emergency repairs will begin in the morning, and the detour will be in place for the morning commute.
