The Town of Paradise advises that due to the forecast, all Town of facilities, including the Town Hall and Paradise Double Ice Complex, are closed for the day on Friday, March 8, 2024 with Recreation facilities closed for the evening on Friday as well.
Garbage collection for Area 4A&B and Recycling collection for Area 4B are cancelled for Friday, March 8, 2024. It will be collected on Monday, March 11. Updates available at www.paradise.ca/garbage

With the forecast for the comings days, the Town is providing an update on snow clearing activities. Since the last snow storms, crews have been out street widening and doing snow removal in cul-de-sacs. Due to the volume of snow from the past snowfalls and some issues with our equipment, street widening took longer than normal. Since the last storms, cul-de-sac and hydrant clearing, trail grooming, and asphalt pothole repairs are ongoing.

Today, the Provincial Government unveiled plans to build a new high school in the Town of Paradise. The school will help foster a strong sense of community spirit for the growing number of high school aged students in the town, while also supporting positive student outcomes.

The Town of Paradise is offering a public Book of Condolence for Councillor Elizabeth Laurie. Those wishing to sign a book can do so at either the Paradise Double Ice Complex (1 Sarah Davis Way) or Paradise Town Hall (28 McNamara Drive), during regular operating hours. The books will be available for signing until Monday, February 26, 2024.
