Due to the forecast for Tuesday, January 4, the opening of the Town Hall to the public is delayed to Wednesday, January 5. Town staff will be working remotely to provide business continuity and maintain services. All services are continuing with the exception of in-person visits to Town facilities and recreation programming. The Town of Paradise today provided an update on its operation under the Modified Alert Level 4 public health guidelines.
The Town Hall will open to the public on Tuesday, January 4. All visitors to the facility are reminded to follow all current public health guidelines and that masks are required to enter the building. For those residents who need to make payments to the Town, there are options available to do so without visiting the Town Hall - for full details, visit www.paradise.ca/tax

To support current public health measures under Alert Level 3, the Town of Paradise advises that at the close of operations today, Wednesday, December 22, all Town facilities will close to the public, this includes the Town Hall (closing at 4;30 p.m.) and Paradise Double Ice Complex (closing at 11 p.m.). Facilities will remain closed to the public until January 3, 2022, at which time the Town will re-evaluate the current public health situation and provide an update on operations.

The Town of Paradise presented Budget 2022 during the regular Public Council Meeting on December 21, 2021. The $39.4 million balanced budget maintains residential and commercial mil rates and fees, and presents a plan for strategic investments that meet the needs of all residents.

The Town of Paradise advises of an unplanned, temporary water shut-off for Evergreen Village for Tuesday, December 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The water shut-off is required to complete repairs to the main water line in the area.
When water is restored, residents are reminded to run their water for a few minutes in the event of any discolouration or air in the pipes. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
