UPDATE-Thursday, September 14, 2017, 2:15 p.m.: Water is now restored to the affected area. Residents are reminded to run water for a few minutes to avoid discoloured water.
The Town of Paradise advises of emergency water shut-off affecting the area of St. Thomas line: from Deborah Lynn Heights to the north boundary of the Town.

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that road work will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2017 on Sunvalley Drive. The work includes paving; storm system, curb, gutter and sidewalk on lower half of street; and ditching, culverts and asphalt shoulders on upper half of the street.
The work on Sunvalley Drive is expected to last approximately 10 weeks. For the project, the work will be completed daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and occasional Saturdays.

With the start of the school year, the Town of Paradise is reminding all residents to use extra caution in all school zones. There are four schools in Paradise: Elizabeth Park Elementary (Ellesmere Avenue), Holy Family Elementary (St. Thomas Line), Octagon Pond Elementary (Sgt Donald Lucas Drive) and Paradise Elementary (Karwood Drive).

The Town of Paradise is advising residents that road work will begin next week, September 5, on Kenmount Road. The work will involve the section of road from the roundabout to civic 1194. The work on Kenmount Road is expected to last approximately two months. For that project, work will be completed daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and every second Saturday.
