The Town of Paradise is in the final stage of completing a new, up-to-date Municipal Plan for the Town, including new Development Regulations.

The Town of Paradise has added a new feature to its website enabling residents to track snow clearing equipment. Paradise Plow Tracker shows a Town map providing the approximate location of snow clearing equipment in operation. The information displayed is refreshed approximately every 10 minutes.

All Town facilities will remain closed for the day, Saturday, January 21, including the Paradise Double Ice Complex and the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre. Facilities will return to regular operations on Sunday, January 22. The 50+ Adventure Club Anniversary Dinner and Dance scheduled for Saturday, January 21 is postponed, the event will be rescheduled and the date will be announced.

The Paradise Double Ice Complex and Paradise Rotary Youth and Community Centre will close at 7:00 p.m. tonight, Friday, January 20. The facilities will also be closed for the morning on Saturday, January 21; a further update will be provided by 12 noon on Saturday.

The rescheduled Garbage and Recycling Collection for Area 1 (Monday) on Saturday January 21, 2017 is cancelled. It will be collected during the regular schedule on Monday, January 23. Recycling will be collected in Areas 1A and 1B. If residents have excess bagged garbage that does not fit in the wheeled cart, it will be collected on Monday. This exception is due to the length of the interruption in service. All excess bags should be covered.
