With no changes to mil rates, the $37.2 million 2021 Budget for the Town of Paradise was presented during the regular Public Council Meeting on Tuesday, December 15. The Town of Paradise advises of traffic interruptions on St. Thomas Line, between Topsail Road and Carlingford Drive, on Wednesday, December 16 between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The traffic interruptions are needed to complete testing in the area as part of the upgrade work on Lift Station 10. The 2021 Budget for the Town of Paradise will be presented during the regular public council meeting on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. with the budget being delivered at approximately 6:05 p.m. The Public Council Meeting is available via webcast. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that a section of Adam’s Pond Trail will be closed on Friday, December 11 to facilitate repair work. The section of trail, on the west side of the pond (near Mountaineer Drive and Lanark Drive) will be closed for one day as a culvert is installed. Residents are asked to avoid the area and to follow all posted signage. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
