The Town of Paradise is advising residents that the current detour on Topsail Road will continue until 5:00 p.m. November 4, 2016. The detour will divert traffic through Spracklin Boulevard and Sgt Donald Lucas Drive (see attached photo for route). The Paradise Double Ice Complex has received LEED® Silver certification from the Canada Green Building Council. The Town of Paradise is advising residents that due to current weather conditions affecting road construction and a water main break in the area, the planned detour on Topsail Road is being extended. Topsail Road will reopen this evening, Friday, October 28, 2016 upon completion of repairs to the water main. It will remain open all weekend. The detour will start again at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2016 and be in place until mid-week. It will reopen daily at 5:00 p.m....

Today, the St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) held the grand opening of the new Fire Station No. 8 in the Town of Paradise.
