UPDATE (Tuesday, December 10): Garbage (areas 1A and 1B) and recycling (area 1A) will now be collected on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 along with regular collection for Wednesday Area 2. Please have garbage and recycling curbside by 8:00 a.m.
While it was previously announced that Tuesday’s collection would be rescheduled to next Monday, the Town recognizes the inconvenience this may pose to some residents and has made arrangements to collect on Wednesday.

The 2020 Budget for the Town of Paradise will be presented during the regular public council meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. with the budget being delivered at approximately 6:05 p.m. The budget presentation will also be available through Facebook Live.

At tonight's (November 19) Public Council Meeting, Deputy Mayor Elizabeth Laurie, Chair of the Corporate Services Committee, provided an update on the costs of the repairs to the Lift Station on the corner of Topsail Road and St. Thomas Line. An equipment malfunction occurred at the Lift Station on August 12, and as the volume at that lift station is the largest in Town, crews worked to keep the essential service operating for residents while repair work was completed.
