Effective 7 a.m. Sunday, August 25, a section on St. Thomas Line, from Topsail Road to Carlingford Street, will be closed to all traffic. Traffic will be diverted through Carlingford Street. Traffic calming measures will be in place and traffic control will be in place at the intersection with Topsail Road. As part of traffic control, lane reductions will be in place on Topsail Road. The Town of Paradise today provided an update on the emergency repairs at the sanitary sewer lift station located on the corner of St. Thomas Line and Topsail Road. The Town of Paradise is advising of a planned water shut-off on Thursday, August 15 for a portion of Clearview Heights. Residences between (and including) civic #1 and civic #30 will be affected, along with 1604 Topsail Road. Water will be shut-off at 9 a.m. and will be restored by 4 p.m. The water shut-off is required as part of the road work ongoing in the area. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience
