The Town of Paradise is advising motorists to expect delays Westbound on Topsail Road on the commute home this afternoon, (Friday, November 15).
Line Painting is underway on Topsail Road West between the overpass and intersection of Carlisle Drive and Topsail Road (in front of McDonalds). This work supports lane configuration changes for the Kenmount Road exit ramp onto Topsail Road West which came into effect on Tuesday, November 12.
Flagpersons will be in the area to assist with traffic flow.

The Town of Paradise is advising of lane configuration changes for the Kenmount Road exit ramp onto Topsail Road West.
Effective Tuesday, November 12, the exit ramp will change to a yield before exiting onto Topsail Road. Currently, the exit is a lane merge. In addition, a centre turning lane will be added to the section of Topsail Road.
Appropriate signage will be placed in advance of the new configuration taking effect.
The changes are being made to improve traffic flow for this section of Topsail...

The Town of Paradise is advising that sanitary smoke testing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 for Stormont Street, Pleasantview Avenue, Fred Brown Drive, Barchester Street, and Lancefield Street. The testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The purpose is to identify sewer infrastructure leaks and cross-connections. A harmless and non-damaging smoke will be injected throughout the sewer system to enable crews to locate any leaks and note cross connections in the sewer...

Repairs have started at the St. Thomas Line / Topsail Road Lift Station and are expected to be completed in approximately four weeks. At times, there may be traffic interruptions as equipment and trucks work in the area. As of September 3, external pumper trucks were no longer required on the site full-time as external equipment keeping the lift station operational while repairs are ongoing. Pumper trucks may periodically be required depending on the nature of the work being completed....

The Paradise Town Council today responded to a recent letter circulated by the Paradise Soccer Club to its membership. Working in partnership, the Town of Paradise and the Paradise Soccer Club have grown the minor sport in our Town and have given our youth a great soccer program.
