The Town of Paradise advises that effective immediately, all Town facilities are closed to the public, including the Town Hall and Paradise Double Ice Complex. The Town is taking this measure to support Public Health guidelines to help contain the spread of COVID-19. Facilities will remain closed to the public until February 26, 2021, at which time the Town will re-evaluate the current public health situation.
“We understand the increase in COVID-19 cases is causing uneasiness for our residents, businesses, and employees and, as such we want to do what we can to support public health guidelines and do our part to reduce the spread of the virus,” said Dan Bobbett, Mayor of Paradise. “Our focus is on ensuring the health and safety of our employees so they can do their jobs providing services to our residents.”
While facilities are closed, Town services are on-going and staff are available via phone and email. The main Town phone line 782-1400, the main Town recreation phone line 782-6290, and general email info@paradise.ca, are monitored and staff will be available to respond to all inquiries.
