The Town of Paradise has a permanent Water Conservation Order in place. Through these measures, the Town hopes to avoid having to issue a ban on outside water usage. All residents are asked to please use water wisely!
Under the Water Conservation Order, lawn watering is permitted at the following times:
New lawns are exempt from this order for a period of 60 days, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from the time the lawn is installed or replaced. A permit from the Town is required to qualify for exemption.
Residents can only use a lawn sprinkler during the times specified above, according to the civic number.
Those failing to comply with this order are subject to a monetary fine and may have water to the property turned off. A water reconnection fee of $50 will apply to have water service reinstated.
