The Town of Paradise has received an application to permit an accessory building with a floor area of 107 m2 at 91 Three Island Pond Road. There is an existing permitted accessory building also on the property with a floor area of 9.5 m2 bringing the total floor area of all accessory buildings to 116.5 m2. The property has a lot area of 5745 m2. The maximum floor area of all accessory buildings permitted in the Rural Residential / Conservation / Open Space Buffer Use zones for lots with an area greater than 4050 m2 is 90 m2. Total floor areas that are greater than 90 m2 may be permitted subject to public notice and Council approval. This Notice of Discretionary Use is advertised in accordance with Sections 3.6 and 9.5 of the Town of Paradise Development Regulations, 2016. Take notice that the Town of Paradise Development Regulations Amendment No. 25, 2024, adopted on the 28th day of May 2024, has been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs. This amendment makes changes to three (3) main topics in the Development Regulations:
This Amendment comes into effect on July 5, 2024, the day that this notice is published in the Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
