PSA: Installation of Roundabout Feature

The Town of Paradise advises that construction of the feature for the middle of the Topsail Road – McNamara Drive roundabout is scheduled to begin December 6. The feature is designed to be a tribute to a former landmark of the Town’s history, Octagon Castle, a restaurant, hotel, and gallery built on the shores of Octagon Pond in the late 1800s and was destroyed by fire in 1915. The project is expected to take a couple of weeks to complete and there are minimal traffic interruptions anticipated with work. 

All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
