Update: June 5, 11:30 a.m. - Due to weather conditions on Tues. Jun 4, paving could not be completed at the Karwood Roundabout. Paving operations will continue today (June 5) and in order to complete the required work, it is expected to continue throughout the afternoon. To facilitate the work, all traffic will be directed by flagpersons and traffic delays are anticipated. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for the inconvenience.
The Town of Paradise advises that paving will begin in the Karwood Roundabout on Tuesday, June 4. The work will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.
To facilitate the paving operations, all traffic will be directed by flagpersons. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures.
Paving operations will begin after the peak morning traffic and will end for peak evening traffic. Traffic delays are anticipated for the duration of the paving operations. Traffic control will be in place at the entrance to Paradise Elementary School for morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.
This portion of work is to install the first layer of asphalt. A second layer will be placed at a later date, dependent on weather conditions. The Town will provide an update when the next phase of paving is scheduled.
