The Town of Paradise advises that paving operations for the remainder of the first layer of asphalt will take place on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 for the Topsail Road / McNamara Drive roundabout.
In order to have the first layer of paving finished in one day, work will begin at 7 a.m. and continue into the evening until it is completed. This work will impact traffic. Traffic will be delayed throughout the day, including during the morning and evening commutes. If possible, residents are advised to find alternate routes.
With the impending weather forecast for later in the week and school starting next week, the Town is moving to have the first layer of asphalt completed in one day. With this part of the paving in place, it is expected that traffic flow in the area will improve for the remainder of the construction project. The Topsail Road / McNamara Drive roundabout project is on schedule and is anticipated to be completed by mid Fall.
The Town apologizes for the inconvenience. For information on this construction project, visit paradise.ca/TopsailRoundabout
