PSA: Removal of House at Civic #3 St. Thomas Line

The Town of Paradise is advising that demolition and removal of the house located at civic #3 St. Thomas Line is scheduled to begin on Friday, November 6, 2020. The property, adjacent to Lift Station 10, was impacted by the equipment failure that occurred in August 2019 and as a result the Town purchased the property.  

 

A full evaluation was completed on the property and any unsafe materials were removed. In addition, all items on and in the property that were deemed reusable were removed and donated to appropriate organizations. The building demolition is expected to take one day to complete. The Town will use the property as part of the upgrades to Lift Station 10.  

 

There may be minor traffic interruptions during the work as equipment moves to and from the site. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
