The Town of Paradise is advising residents that work on the traffic lights at the intersection of Carlisle Drive and Topsail Road will begin on Monday, August 31. The project will improve the sequencing of the traffic lights at the intersection and is expected to take approximately one week to complete.
Work will occur daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the morning, traffic flow will be maintained eastbound with minimal interruptions until 9:00 a.m. and in the evening, traffic flow westbound will be maintained with minimal interruptions beginning at 4:00 p.m. The traffic lights will remain operational during the work and traffic control will be on-site.
During this work, efforts will be made to minimize impact on traffic flow; however residents can expect lane reductions and traffic delays in the area. All drivers are asked to use caution in the area and to follow signage and traffic control procedures. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this work.
