Due to current weather conditions, the Town of Paradise has declared a state of emergency. All businesses are to close and all non-essential workers are asked to stay home. All residents are ordered to stay off Town roads until the state of emergency is lifted. At this time, Town plows are operational and clearing Topsail Road and collector roads. Should weather conditions make it unsafe to be on the roads, crews will not complete snow clearing until weather conditions improve and it is safe to return to operations. Should this occur, updates on snow clearing operations will be posted to the Town website and social media pages.
Residents are reminded to not park cars on Town roads as this impedes snow clearing operations. We also ask our residents to have patience as this is a significant snowfall and it will take time to complete snow clearing operations. Updates will be posted to the Town website (paradise.ca) and social media pages.
