The Town of Paradise today provided an update on operations as the province moves to Alert Level 2 for public health guidelines.
Town Operations:
Essential, core, and business continuity services are on-going (including water testing, snow / ice control, municipal enforcement, and garbage collection);
The main phone line 782-1400 and email are monitored and staff available to respond to all inquiries;
The BodyQuest Fitness Centre will open Monday, March 29, by appointment only. Visit www.paradise.ca/fitnesscentre to schedule a time;
The Paradise Double Ice Complex will open for confirmed rentals effective Monday, March 29;
The Town Hall will open to the public on Monday, April 5;
Curbside garbage and recycling collection is on-going as per the 2021 Garbage Collection Schedule;
Public Council Meetings are proceeding on regular schedule (first and third Tuesday of the month) via webcasting; and
Paradise Park, including the dog parks, the various trails, and outdoor play areas in Town are available for use; residents are asked to practice physical distancing and all public health guidelines.
A further update will be provided for recreational programming, including operations at the Paradise Double Ice Complex and Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre, once public health guidelines for these areas are available.
