The Town of Paradise advises that the state of emergency remains in effect until 6 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2020. Snow clearing operations are underway and while progress is being made, all non-essential vehicles need to stay off roads so crews can complete their work.
All businesses are to remain closed; however, pharmacies are permitted to open from noon to 7 p.m. today (Sunday, January 19, 2020) and private snow clearing contractors can begin operations.
All Town facilities will be closed for Monday, January 20, 2020. Garbage collection for Area 4 rescheduled to Monday is cancelled; an update on collection will be provided on Monday.
Only essential vehicles (first responders and Town snow clearing equipment) are permitted on Town roads. Essential workers are permitted to travel to report to work. Anyone needing medication is permitted to travel to a pharmacy between noon and 7 p.m. ATVs such as snowmobiles are not permitted on roads and no vehicles are permitted to park on Town roads.
All residents are asked to stay home and safe so crews can complete snow clearing work for the safety of all residents.
