The Town of Paradise advises residents that we will no longer use X in our day-to-day communications with residents and will only be used for urgent matters.

Due to the ongoing lack of engagement and decline in tone, we have decided to focus on our other platforms. You can find us on Facebook and LinkedIn for all Town notices and updates.

You can also sign up for our Resident Notification System where you will receive notices straight to your phone about cancellations, water shut-offs, construction notices and more!

Oh! And don’t forget about the new Town App for your garbage and recycling collection schedule and information about Town events.

Salary & Benefits
🔹 The annual salary is $69,186.19 as per the Collective Agreement;
🔹 This is a full-time unionized position
🔹 Free gym membership and access to fitness classes at the Paradise Double Ice Complex;

Requirements & Qualifications
🔹 Grade twelve (12) High School Diploma or equivalent
🔹 Must possess and be able to maintain a Refrigeration “B” Ticket or Class 4 Power Engineer’s Certificate
🔹 Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
🔹 Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License
🔹 Clear Code of Conduct
🔹 Education and training related to this position are ongoing and will include WHMIS, first aid, arena operators’ course and pool operators’ course

Our annual awards are an opportunity to recognize and honour those individuals, groups, and businesses who excel in their activity or field and help make our Town what it is.

We’re thrilled to announce two new award categories representing the performing and visual arts this year. Individuals can nominate artists and / or performers for the Performing Arts Award or Inspiring Arts Award.
