The Town of Paradise advises that the construction on the beach volleyball courts in Paradise Park is scheduled to begin August 5 and take approximately four weeks to complete. Construction will take place daily Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Due to the nature of the work and for everyone’s safety, the beach volleyball courts, the dog parks, and the small parking lot will be closed to all users. The splash pad, accessible playground, temporary baseball fields, concession stand, and band stand will be open. Those using Paradise Park can park in the Paradise Double Ice Complex parking lot and use the north entrance through the decorative fencing. Those using the park are asked to follow all posted signage and avoid the construction area.
The upgrades to the beach volleyball courts are needed as the Town is the host location for the sport for the 2025 Canada Summer Games. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their cooperation and patience as this project is completed.
